We offer weekly stays, with guests at the Ellingham Cottages in St Martins able to choose accommodation with arrival days on Saturday or Sunday. In Bordeaux, guests at the Ellingham Apartments are welcomed on Fridays and Sundays. Outside of the peak period and where availability allows, we can also offers stays of a shorter duration. Your holiday cottage/ apartment will be set up as you have requested, with infant equipment and other special requests taken care of. You will find a selection of local produce so that you can start your holiday with a relaxing cup of tea and snack before exploring the local area.
We aim to make your holiday as enjoyable as possible and provide a range of things to help you settle in comfortably. From thick dressing gowns and complimentary toiletries, to a mid-week housekeeping service including towel change... we want you to simply relax.
The Ellingham Cottages are located in the beautiful parish of St Martins which lies in the south east of Guernsey. With twelve well-appointed two & three-bedroom cottages plus a Studio Apartment, this complex is popular with families and groups of friends who want a comfortable base from which to enjoy the delights of Guernsey.
The Ellingham Apartments at Bordeaux is a smaller self-catering complex and is only 30 seconds walk from Bordeaux Harbour in the north east of Guernsey. There are seven two-bedroom apartments, which sleep up to four people and ideal for walkers and families who want to enjoy the fabulous walks and beaches at their doorstep.
The south coast of Guernsey is renowned for stunning cliffs overlooking sandy bays and sea of the brightest blue. With a choice of supermarkets, shops, restaurants and bars only a short walk away, plus perfectly located for cliff walks and trips to tucked-away coves, The Ellingham Cottages in St Martins is in a truly wonderful location.
The beautiful north coast has more gentle terrain than the rest of the island. It offers a mix of coastal paths, common land, marinas and wonderful long stretches of white sandy beaches. The Ellingham Apartments at Bordeaux are only a skip away from a harbour and coastal paths, plus just a short cycle or drive to supermarkets and shops.
The best family holidayWe stayed in a superior 2 bed cottage at the St Martins location and had the best family holiday. The cottage had everything we needed and more, the outside terrace with BBQ was a great bonus and we really liked the location on the island. The cottage was clean and exactly as described.

Absolutely marvellous. After thirty years of staying in self-catering, this is by far the best accommodation we have ever had. The property was cleaned and towels/linen changed more often than we have experienced in good hotels. On one occasion we had a problem so sent an email, within two minutes, there was a knock on the door... The management were very friendly and very helpful and accommodating.
