Coastal Holiday Apartments

The Ellingham Apartments at Bordeaux is a small '4* Gold' holiday complex with just seven self-catering apartments.  Located in the charming northeast of Guernsey, this quiet complex is named after its beautiful location by Bordeaux Harbour and bay (which is nowhere near the city of Bordeaux in France!). 

The colourful fishing boats bobbing in Bordeaux harbour are less than a minutes' walk away.  A perfect start to the morning is wandering down with a cup of tea and sitting on the sea wall to ponder what adventures to have later.  Looking across the water to the islands of Herm and Sark may inspire you to jump on the small ferry for a day trip to our sister islands.  Or being under the gaze of Vale Castle may sparken the intrugue to explore Guernsey's heritage sites or museums.  If you are feeling energised, this bay is a lovely place for a swim, especially at high tide - and the sandy bay opposite is perfect for building sandcastles at mid-to low tide. 

Despite being tucked away in a quiet area, the apartments are less than a mile away from the small shopping area at the 'Bridge', with its supermarkets, coffee shops and pubs.  There is a bus stop nearby which will take you into St Peter Port, or head in the other direction on the popular circular island route - passing the Caribbean-looking sandy beaches of the north coast, past the beachside playground by Ladies bay and on to the many beaches and places to eat on the west coast.

All apartments are bright, newly refurbished and equipped with all that you will need to have a great self-catering holiday in Guernsey.  The bathrooms are stocked with soft towels, dressing gowns and complimentary toiletries - and at the end of the day you will drift into a great night’s sleep in a bed made up with Egyptian cotton bed linen.  There is a shared garden to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine, plus each apartment has books and games for you to enjoy.  Whilst some apartments have a washing machine, all apartments can use the Guest Laundry room - with the washing machines and tumble dryers being free of charge. The apartments receive a mid-stay housekeeping and towel refresh service.
